This 8-week in-person group medical program will assist you in releasing and managing stress-overload, which can negatively impact your physical and mental health. Through community, group process, and stress specific yoga + meditation it is designed to replace ineffective and destructive coping mechanisms. It combines evidence-based approaches with experiential transformation.
Our physicians facilitate Group Medical Visit (GMV) programs and these are not to be confused with courses. Group medical visits offer a new and time-efficient way of caring for patients who share the same chronic condition. Patients are invited to attend these sessions to receive care, education, and advice within a supportive group environment. Here is an article if you are curious to learn more! Group medical visits: Enhancing chronic illness care
There are no upfront costs to our groups and group medical visits are covered by MSP for patients with a medical diagnosis from their physician, nurse practitioner or psychiatrist. Stress is not a formal diagnosis but if your stress seems to worsen or increase the risk of conditions like obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, depression, gastrointestinal problems, addiction and asthma etc, please feel welcome to apply or call our office with questions.
*Please note that registering your interest in a group medical visit program does not guarantee participation but initiates the intake process.
